Live Facial Recognition Event

On Tuesday 3 February, Acton Neighbourhood Officers worked together to carry out a Live Facial Recognition (LFR) operation on Acton High Street.

The aim of this deployment was to identify individuals of interest to police and locate wanted offenders. Throughout the operation, officers successfully identified and apprehended multiple individuals for a range of offences.

Our officers also took the opportunity to engage with residents and local businesses, answering questions and offering reassurance about the purpose of the technology and our commitment to keeping Acton safe.
